A Prayer to Uncover Comfort in God’s Protecting Gaze – Your Day by day Prayer

A Prayer of Safety

“The LORD is my power and my shield in him my heart trusts, and I am assisted my coronary heart exults, and with my music I give thanks to him.” – Psalm 28:7 ESV

A several years back, I snapped a image of a cloud that oddly resembled a large eye in the sky. At the time I saw it, I could not aid but assume God was looking at with a mindful and attentive gaze. Now that photo usually cycles alone through a exhibit of featured photographs on my cellular phone, serving as a reminder God sees me. The days I’m most comforted by this considered are when I’m battling!

What about you? Is there a little something that reminds you of God’s watchful defense and watchful eye over you? Perhaps on a day when you ended up getting inundated with lies and feared the enemy, you saw a flock of sparrows reminding you  God sees and cares for your just about every need to have. Or most likely you have been combating with your buddy, and a particular person from church prayed a specific, spirit-led term that spoke to your difficulty devoid of her figuring out the details. Or perhaps on a working day when you couldn’t manage to pay back an overdue monthly bill, the Lord delivered the sum you required through an nameless donor. 

In the Bible, God refers to Himself as the Fantastic Shepherd, who lays down His daily life for the sheep. And He states we are the sheep of His pasture (John 10:11-14). Sheep are instead defenseless animals. They do not have sharp enamel or claws to ward off predators. They are coated in significant wool that tends to make them vulnerable to overheating if not groomed frequently and vulnerable to drowning if they drop into deep waters. They are acknowledged for obtaining them selves into precarious circumstances. And they want a shepherd’s continual treatment and security to remain secure and alive. 

All the over situations are techniques God lovingly communicates His willingness to protect and support us. He reminds us we can have confidence in Him to treatment for us, particularly when we are scared and having difficulties with doubt and be concerned. The Good Shepherd safeguards His flock, even at the cost of His personal existence! God sees us. He is our supply of energy and our shield from the enemy’s fiery darts. He longs for us to occur to Him when we require aid. We can believe in Him, and even when we are worried, we can sing praises of thanksgiving, figuring out our hearts are wholly safe and sound and secure in His tender, robust, shepherding fingers (Psalm 28:7). 

Let us pray:
Expensive Lord, 

Thank You for reminding us we are susceptible without you. We face lots of potential risks, and we are defenseless with no You! But Lord, with You, we are safe and sound. You don’t go away us helpless and defenseless. We are secured. You act as a shield, and You give us power. You are the Superior Shepherd who knows His sheep. You treatment for us. You look at more than us. You in no way go away us and normally have Your loving gaze locked on us. Forgive us when we wrongly think about how you watch about us. Lord, unfortunately some of us feel as if You are an unloving drive just waiting for us to mess up. But Lord, that is not how You appear upon us at all. You delight in us. And you sent Your Son to deal with up all our sins and blemishes. When we are in Christ, You do not see our errors. You see Your spotless lamb. You delight in us like a father delights in His boy or girl. And nothing can individual us from Your Enjoy. Thank You for guarding us. Thank You that even nevertheless risk lurks all-around us, we are so harmless we can sing! Thank You for getting fully reliable and a safe spot to operate when we are concerned. We really like You and trust You! In Jesus’ name, Amen.
