I am no stranger to hard periods. I shed my spouse to most cancers in 2013 and was remaining caring for two little little ones. In my most hopeless state, I remembered what I experienced been taught my overall everyday living. The Psalmist in this passage is describing a God who will not abandon us. It does not necessarily mean that if we believe in Him, we will be able to escape struggling and loss, but it does necessarily mean that no matter what we face, He will never ever leave us.

Despite all the tragedy going on all around us, we can rest assured that we have a solid foundation in Christ. He is our legitimate, unmovable rock that can withstand anything at all that this life can throw at us.

So enable us recall this real truth as we stand surrounded by issue in the entire world or in our individual life. Let us recall who God is and that His faithfulness to stand with us can be trustworthy.
